What a wonderful day exploring Fort Bend County’s rich history with our Leadership Fort Bend Class of 2027!

Our History Session this week took us to the Fort Bend History Museum, The George Ranch, Sugar Land 95 Site, Rosenberg Railroad Museum, and ended with a sweet treat at Another Time Soda Fountain!

🎓 CTE Leadership Academy Class of 2027 — Session #1!

Last week, we officially kicked off the CTE Leadership Academy Class of 2027, presented by Frito-Lay, with a full day of learning, connection, and hands-on experiences for juniors and seniors from Lamar CISD and Needville ISD!

Our students started the morning developing essential professional skills, learning about First Impressions from Bayonle Arashi with Midas Football Academy and Networking from April Bray with Be Local. They then had the opportunity to put those skills into practice at our Future Forward Luncheon, where they were officially introduced to our business community as the CTE Leadership Academy Class of 2027! 🎉

The day continued at the University of Houston Sugar Land, where students toured the Gessner College of Nursing and Technology Center and heard from Dr. Jay Neal, Kimberly Williams, Dameria Boston, and their teams about the educational and career opportunities available right here in our community.

A program like this is only possible because of the incredible partners, volunteers, and sponsors who invest their time and resources into preparing our future workforce! ❤️
