UCF Texas UCF Texas is a nonprofit healthcare organization providing primary care, nutrition, mental health, and diagnostic services.

Our mission is to enhance access to high-quality healthcare for medically underserved communities. UCF Texas is a non-profit NGO in the healthcare sector providing several services with focus on primary care, nutrition, mental health, and medical diagnostics. The aim of UCF is to mainstream healthcare for the uninsured and medically underserved. To achieve these objectives, we have adopted a multi

-pronged approach of community development and stakeholder involvement in the processes. Our community development initiatives consist of outreach events, health fairs, community education, internships, and externships. We work at the grass-root level to resolve problems that are an impediment to quality healthcare such as poverty alleviation by skill development. Primary care is the first point of interaction of the patients with the healthcare sector. Many diseases and injuries can be treated at the primary care level without any need for further consultation in the secondary and tertiary healthcare tiers. This improves the efficiency of the healthcare sector and prevents unnecessary expenses of the patients and healthcare sector. From the primary care units, patients receive referrals for further treatments in the secondary and tertiary sectors, if required. Our further services include health screens, vaccinations, mental health counseling, nutrition counseling, and telehealthcare.
