See the attached flyer for details about our upcoming Junior Master Photographer workshops. We are hosting in two locations this year. To attain certification, youth must complete workshops 1 and 2. This is also the first step and training ground to becoming a Photography Ambassador. Registration for the Dallas location is open on TX4H. Kerrville will open in October.

Please see your emails on how to register for the new 4-H year as the process has changed. Please also look at the Fort Bend County website on registration for creative arts. Note that the theme this year is "Acknowledging the past, growing the future"

Coloring sheets can be picked up at any Fort Bend County Library or the Fort Bend County Extension Office at 1402 Band Road!

Late post Share from kids

📰❤️ We walked into Entomology Club and noticed a newspaper sitting on the table. Pierce’s teacher smiled and said, “Oh, you should look at the article inside—it’s about the photography club.”

She flipped through the pages, and Pierce saw the picture and thought it was so cool… not realizing it was actually his own article he had written about the photography club and the awards they won 🥹❤️

He had eagerly volunteered to serve as reporter for the 2 Rivers Rabbit & Photography 4-H Club, and seeing his work printed in the paper was such a special moment.

That same day, he also received his 1st place fair ribbon, along with 8 blue ribbons and 1 red ribbon for his photography 📸🌿
And yes… most of his photography is nature-based 😂❤️

As a mom, it means even more knowing he continues to pursue opportunities so bravely despite the challenges dyslexia can bring. So proud of him ❤️
