567 Morris Avenue is bringing something Union County has long needed: accessible, integrated behavioral health care, close to home.

Right now, there is just one mental health provider for every 449 residents in the county, which is double the national rate. The average wait time for care is 8 to 12 weeks.

For someone in crisis, that's 8 to 12 weeks too long.

Bridgeway's new Center for Integrated Outpatient Services was built to change that. The community now has access to:

- Rapid access to care - walk-in, 7 days a week, with access to clinicians within 24 hours
- Outpatient therapy - individual, family, and group therapy for youth (6+) and adults
- Case management - connecting clients to housing, education, employment, and legal support
- Integrated care - addressing mental health and physical health together, under one roof

No one should have to wait to feel better, safer, or supported. Learn more: https://ow.ly/69qZ50Z65SO.

Happy National Say Something Nice Day 💙

Kind words may seem small, but they can make a big difference in someone’s day - and even their mental health. A compliment, a thank you, or simply reminding someone they matter can create connection, comfort, and hope.

Today, take a moment to say something kind to a friend, coworker, family member, or even yourself. You never know who may need to hear it.

The May Beacon is here 💚

This month, we recognize PTSD Awareness Month and Men’s Mental Health Month, shining a light on the importance of mental health support, connection, and access to care for all. In this issue, we share powerful stories of impact through ARRIVE Together, MCORT Success Stories, and Sidewalks of Support, along with personal journeys like Corrine’s Story and “A Welcome that Matters” featuring Ingrid Montgomery.

You’ll also find Trustee Reflections on why Men’s Mental Health Month matters, updates from the community, awareness dates to know, career opportunities, mindful moments, and ways to support Woods System of Care by running or walking in this year’s event.

Take a moment to explore the stories, people, and programs making a difference across our communities every day.

At Bridgeway Behavioral Health, we are committed to reducing stigma, increasing understanding, and providing compassionate, person-centered care.

Programs like ARRIVE Together are changing how communities respond to mental health crises through collaboration, compassion, and person-centered care.

We’re proud to see the partnership between the Montgomery Township Police Department and Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services highlighted for the important work being done every day to support individuals and families in crisis.

A special thank you to the incredible Bridgeway team on the scene led by Nicole Crowley, ARRIVE Director, along with Danielle Seastrum-Marano and our dedicated ARRIVE clinicians who continue to show patience, professionalism, empathy, and compassion in every interaction. Your work is making a real impact in the communities we serve.

Thank you as well to the Montgomery Township Police Department for embracing this collaborative approach and helping strengthen access to compassionate behavioral health support in the community.

Sometimes showing up looks like this. The Bridgeway team took to the sidewalks this week as part of Sidewalks of Support - a community initiative where chalk and creativity come together to spread messages of hope, healing, and connection. It's a small gesture with a big heart. And it's a reminder that mental health advocacy doesn't always happen inside four walls - sometimes it happens right where you walk.

"Sidewalks of Support" is an annual community chalk campaign hosted by R&J Strategic Communications to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month. The initiative aims to bring visible messages of hope, encouragement, and resilience to neighborhoods statewide.
