Walk or Roll to School is coming soon!

On Wednesday, June 3rd, Sunnyslope families are invited to join us for Walk or Roll to School Day. Buses will drop students off at the end of the field on Austin Road so they can walk the rest of the way to school together.

Everyone who walks, rides a bike, or scooters to school can sign up for raffle prizes in the cafeteria. If you are biking or scootering, be sure to wear your helmet for safety! Don’t forget to wear comfy shoes, follow safety rules, and have fun on the way!

Parents are welcome (and encouraged!) to join their students for the walk or roll — it’s a great way to start the day together.

🎓 5th Grade Send Off Ceremony 🎓

Join us as we celebrate our amazing 5th graders as they close one chapter and prepare for the next! Families are invited to attend this special ceremony honoring our students and all they’ve accomplished this year. ✨

After the ceremony, refreshments will be available and student projects will be on display to view and enjoy.

We hope you’ll come help us recognize and celebrate this important milestone for our 5th graders! 💙

Families of incoming kindergarten students are invited to join us for Kindergarten Roundup!
📆 Date: Wednesday, May 13
⏰ Time: 3 to 4:30 p.m.
📍 Location: All Roseburg elementary schools

This event is for children entering kindergarten in fall 2026 and their families.
At Kindergarten Roundup, you will:
• Meet teachers and school staff
• Participate in kindergarten activities
• Learn about daily routines and expectations
• Get help with enrollment

Families who attend will receive a free book and a “Future Graduate” T-shirt.
