Aviva Health is a preferred provider for most insurance companies and we welcome Medicare and Oregon Health Plan Medicaid patients. But don't be concerned if you are uninsured or have a high deductible. Our services are billed on a sliding scale which is based on income and family size. Many patients qualify for discounts or payment arrangements. No patient is turned away for the inability to pay. Aviva Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center and recognized Patient-Centered Primary Care Home, providing not only primary health care, but a variety of support programs and resources to help you achieve your health goals. In addition to teaching CPR, this dummy has apparently been assigned to take meeting notes.

Unfortunately, she's three weeks behind on her deliverables, hasn't submitted a single meeting summary and spends most of her time staring blankly at her laptop.

Her productivity is questionable, her communication skills are nonexistent, but that majestic mullet? Absolutely flawless.

Business in the front, gloriousness in the back.

We're considering a performance improvement plan, but frankly, nobody wants to confront someone with that much hair confidence. 🤣

Calling all veterans and their four-legged friends! It’s time again for Vets and Their Pets – Aviva Health’s opportunity to thank those who served in the armed forces.

We're bringing together resources, activities and a little fun for veterans and their pets!

For our veterans:
• Complimentary lunch
• Free wellness and self-care activities

• Community vendors offering veteran resources

For our furry friends:
• Free vaccinations for cats and dogs
• Complimentary basic grooming
• Pup cups for our canine companions

All pets must be on a leash or in a kennel at all times.

We spend a lot of time asking how to attract and retain great employees. Sometimes the answer starts with something simple: care about the life they go home to.

At the Family Friendly Workplace Summit last week, Aviva Health was honored to be recognized as a designated Douglas County Best Place for Working Parents organization and a Business Champion for Kids Advocate.

We also joined a panel to share about a recent workforce support/employee engagement initiative: Aviva partnered with Maple Corner Montessori to provide summer camp experiences for Aviva staff kids—an opportunity that brought a lot of joy to our families last summer. A seemingly small gesture with big impact during a stressful season for working parents.

We were especially excited to announce that Aviva is one of two organizations selected to partner with Douglas ESD/Biz4Kids on a Back-Up Childcare Pilot Project launching at the end of this year.

The summit connected the dots between business success, strong families, and a thriving community. Thank you to everyone who planned, presented, and helped bring such an incredible gathering to life! We left inspired to keep finding meaningful ways to support the working parents on our team.

The Oregon Health Plan — better known as OHP — is Oregon’s Medicaid program. If you’re an OHP member, you have Medicaid coverage.

Changes at the federal level may affect whether some people remain eligible for OHP. Taking a few simple steps now can help you avoid losing coverage because of missed information:

✅ Make sure OHP has your current address, phone number and email address.
✅ Open and read every letter you receive from OHP.
✅ Respond to all requests by the deadline provided.

To update your information, log in to your ONE account or create one at Benefits.Oregon.gov.

We are grateful to partner with local nonprofits such as Peace at Home who provides safe housing and other resources for women facing domestic violence, stalking, and/or s*x trafficking. 🏡 If you want to support them or find out more about what they do, you can join them downtown in Roseburg for their annual “Take Back the Night” awareness walk on October 22nd, 2026 at 5:30pm starting from the Douglas County Courthouse steps/lawn. Thank you Peace at Home Advocacy Center for all you do for our community.🫶
