The members of Laurel Masonic Lodge believe that you soul lives on if people remember you. It is important to remember our loved ones, our fellow man, and those who have made sacrifices for us. Please, on this day, REMEMBER.

PEOPLE WITH W**D TRIMMERS NEEDED!

Oakland Masonic and Old Town Cemetery
207 Old Town Rd, Oakland OR 97462
Sunday, April 19, 2026 9am to 12pm

Laurel Lodge No.13 and Oakland Lodge No.16
Ancient Free & Accepted Masons of Oregon
will be helping to clean up this cemetery that has so many area Pioneers, Veterans, Masons, and wonderful souls eternally resting there since the 1850s.

The Oakland Masonic and Old Town Cemetery Association has struggled with advancing age of residents, lack of funding, and a general apathy of the community about maintaining these historic places. It is hoped that the Masonic fraternity along with communities can rekindle an expression of respect for our past loved ones. Masonic tradition teaches that it is our remembering that preservers the soul. Let us not forget the importance of remembering.
