The UCC Foundation furthers the mission of Umpqua Community College through the strength and generosity of volunteers and donors.

The mission of the Umpqua Community College Foundation is to further the mission of Umpqua Community College through the strength and generosity of volunteers and donors. Our vision is to make it possible for every member of the college community to achieve personal, professional, and academic success. The Umpqua Community College Foundation was established in 1970 for charitable and educational p

urposes by improving the financial support of Umpqua Community College through gifts, grants and bequests. Its primary purpose is to provide opportunities for individuals, corporations, foundations and other groups to support the educational programs of the College. The Foundation provides scholarships, short term loans, staff development, capital improvements and other benefits for UCC. The Umpqua Community College Foundation is a tax-exempt organization as described in Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. It qualifies as a public charitable organization under Section 170\ (b) (1) (A) (vi) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to the Foundation are fully tax deductible according to the schedules established under income tax and estate tax regulations. The Foundation’s tax identification number is 23-7287018.

Dave serves as Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking Market Manager for Columbia Bank, where he leads teams of bankers in Roseburg and Medford. His leadership, regional expertise, and commitment to community partnership will be a tremendous asset to the Foundation and the students we serve.

The UCC Foundation supports Umpqua Community College by advancing scholarships, programs, and campus initiatives that expand access to higher education and strengthen our local workforce and economy.

The 2025 Legacy Ball: Havana Nights was an unforgettable celebration — a packed house, stunning guests, and a record-breaking $520,000+ raised! 🎉

Every dollar goes directly to support students and educational programs at Umpqua Community College, helping transform lives and build brighter futures. 💚

As we looked around the room Friday night, we saw legacies continued, alumni giving back, and new faces joining the movement to strengthen our community for generations to come.
