Have you patiently been looking forward to another competition season? Are you excited for the chance to spend weekends together at the track? Are you wondering why Steve hasn't posted anything about the 2025 Ethel Track Fundraising shirts? Well - wait no longer.....

For those that don't know - each year we sell shirts with sponsor names on the back with all proceeds going to our equipment fund for the Ethel Events Center. For 100 dollars you can get your name, or your company's name, or even the name of your arch-rival put on the back of a shirt for all to see. Your 100-dollar donation gets you one free t-shirt. Additional t shirts will sell for 25 dollars. Sweatshirts will sell for 45 dollars this year. Are you interested? I will be starting the collections at the Moonshiner's Annual Swap Meet on Sunday. If you can't find me, look for my lovely wife at the PNW table, as she continues her duties as PNW membership chairperson. We will take your money!

When last we left off at Ethel, Joe May and Jeff Waller had spent a weekend in October flattening the track back out. Thank you, guys! We appreciate their efforts and now let's look to get that equipment fund built back up for the 2025 season.

If you are interested in donating, but won't be at the swap meet, send me a text or a phone call. We have a venmo link that deposits straight into the track fund account as well. I can share that with you.

Yesterday prior to January 17, 2025, you the American public had 3.4 million acres to drive any type of motorized vehicle anywhere you desired. Today in the Lakeview BLM District you have with the exception of 70,000 acres only existing currently open roads to drive on. The CVSD are open as they have in the past and their boundaries have not changed. So be happy apparently.

Under the Approved RMP Amendment Final ROD, 12 areas totaling approximately 70,573 acres scattered across the planning area will be managed as open to OHV use; 397,671 acres currently classified as open will be designated as limited to existing routes, resulting in a total of 3,121,499 acres of limited OHV classification in the planning area; and an additional 476 acres of areas open to OHV use will be designated as closed resulting in a total of 11,285 acres closed to OHV.
