ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:

In this mixed media workshop, participants will create their own fun creature on plywood to brighten their home, yard or office! Don't miss this fun opportunity to explore mixed media design with local artist, Max Smoot, and learn a new creative skillset.

This festive workshop is perfect for celebrating the autumn and Halloween season. With pre-cut and carved wood provided by UVA and Max, participants will get to choose their creature's shape, before using Max's tips and their own imagination to help them come alive with paint! This is a perfect workshop for all ages and/or a family activity. Parents and guardians are encouraged to stay and assist with ages 8 and under.
