Mercy Foundation is honored to be recognized by Oregon State University Extension Service for our Food Program and its impact on patients in need at discharge.

The program provides nutritious meals to support healing, wellness, and recovery for patients facing food insecurity during a critical time in their care journey.

This recognition reflects the power of community partnerships and the compassion of those who help make this program possible. Together, we are helping nourish hope, health, and healing, one meal at a time.

A round of applause for Marion Pearson! As one of the Northwest Region's representatives, Marion has completed and graduated from the Lloyd Dean Institute on Human Kindness and Health Justice.

Marion, along with her fellow candidates representing the Northwest Region contributed to the region receiving top honors for their joint presentation at the Institute's conference in Arizona.

This impressive recognition underscores the talent and dedication of our regional representatives.

We commend Marion Pearson for her successful completion of the three-month curriculum and her pivotal role in bringing recognition to the Northwest.

Today, the Douglas County Board of Commissioners recognized January as Human Trafficking Awareness & Prevention Month, applauding local efforts.

We were honored to accept the proclamation alongside Task Force members and partner agencies. This event gathered a strong network of community partners committed to safeguarding vulnerable individuals in Douglas County.

Thank you to everyone who goes above and beyond to spread awareness and prevent human trafficking in our community.

Mercy Hospice hosted their Light up a Life event last month. This event allows us to honor our donors' loved ones who have passed. The night offered music by our amazing volunteer musician Vern Thompson. Reflections were provided by Tim Skelly, Derick Anderson, and Sabin Gautreau.

Our amazing volunteer staff and chaplains allowed for a wonderful night of celebration! We encourage anyone who is interested in donating, to reach out to Sidney at 541-464-5462 as we plan to make some exciting changes to next year's event.

The Donations for this go to our Mercy Hospice Foundation fund.
