HONK HONK… Canyonville and surrounding area, I HAVE NEWS!
Apparently the humans have decided I need to expand my territory.
So on Thursday, August 20th, I’m pointing my beak south because we are kicking off our very first Pop-Up Pantry in Canyonville!
4:00–6:00 PM
In front of the Canyonville City Offices
250 N Main St.
And then we’ll be back the 3rd Thursday of EVERY month!
We’re calling this The Open Table – Food Pantry, and the hope is bigger than a once-a-month pop-up. We want to work WITH Canyonville, learn what the community needs, build partnerships, and help grow something that belongs to Canyonville and surrounding area.
Because food should be available to people where they live. Period.
And none of this happens without some pretty fantastic humans.
A great big, slightly obnoxious HONNNNNNK to the Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation and Three Rivers Foundation for helping make this possible — and, of course, my FISH humans who apparently looked at everything already happening at the pantry and said, “You know what we need? ANOTHER PROJECT.”

Now we need YOU, too. We’ll be looking for volunteers, food donations, financial support, and lots and lots of shares as we get this thing rolling.
So tell your friends. Tell your neighbors. Tell your cousin. Tell that lady you always see at the gas station but whose name you still don’t know.
