Sitting here reminiscing about our last day got me to thinking….all of this takes a village. Everybody came together today to make Field Day a day to remember. It was so awesome to see all the kiddos smiling faces and watching them have a great time with their friends and peers one last day. We want to give a GIANT shout out to those who came together to make this day happen for us! Thank you to the Lookingglass Store for providing 🧊ice🧊 and Winston Middle School for providing the 🍭cotton candy 🍭 machine when ours decided to fail us for the day.

Please keep your eyes peeled 🧐 for future TAPS updates and all the fun stuff planned for next year! Have a wonderful and safe summer Lookingglass Family!

We are sad it’s the last week but also excited to see everybody’s smiling faces again next year at Lookingglass 💚💛 we look forward to our ☀️Field Day☀️Wednesday!

BONUS night! We also have STEAM night happening. STEAM is a great way for kids to enjoy some robotics and other fun stuff and includes snacks. If you are attending our meeting, kids are allowed to enjoy STEAM while you attend our meeting.

Well today has finally happened. It is the LAST day of the school year our kiddos get to enjoy their time with their peers during 🛼Skate Day🛼 😔 we have all loved watching them enjoy this day every month and having them grow into the awesome skaters that they are today! Until next year Lookingglass GIANTS ✌️

-Side note! TONIGHT at 5:30 in the library is our FINAL meeting of the year. We will be discussing board members with two+ open positions available and final details for our field day for those interested. Please consider joining us as we are looking for more people to help with TAPS. We have been lucky to have a great group of folks that have been so committed but are in need of more! I can promise you it doesn’t take much but what little it does take the easier it is to tackle with more willing to help. Thank you to all that have joined us in making it such a great year!

🚨EVENTS ALERT🚨

We will be moving our May monthly meeting to TOMORROW, April 30th @ 5:30 instead of the following week to discuss upcoming events including our end of the year Field Day! Please plan on attending if you want to get involved for the day.

ALSO, we have our annual Jog-A-Thon coming up next week and are in need of volunteers! I have attached the schedule so if you reach out to me and would like to volunteer, I will put ya down 😊 every class needs a certain amount of volunteers to help count laps in case you don’t know what’s going on. Classes will get split up into groups for the counters.
