Mark your calendar for March 22nd! A special thanks to Helping Hands for organizing a lunch benefit to purchase needed rescue equipment (like Jaws of Life) for the Roseboro Fire Department. Our fire department provides aid to the Town of Roseboro, the Coharie Fire District, and also mutual aid to other fire districts.

Volunteers are needed! If you would like to assist, please contact Tyler (910)525-4121 ext:4.

This summer, Sampson is offering a free program to provide students the opportunity to gain valuable work-based learning experience through District C Teamship. It is a reimagined internship experience for high school students. Teams of students from across the district will be partnered with a real business and work to solve a problem that business is currently facing. At the end of the 4 days, the teams pitch their solutions back to their business partners at a community pitch event. Today is National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day. SRO’s assist in bridging the gap between youth and law enforcement by embracing a concept of school policing by serving in informal counseling, mentoring, and multiple law enforcement roles that support the students and communities they serve.

They are invaluable and essential members of the education community as they assist in maintaining safe schools and protecting our students and staff.
