Hi,
I received a notice from the council about the Scouting for Food program. They DO NOT want us to go door to door this year. So this Tuesday is a no go. They suggest we leave tubs for the food at different locations.
Mellissa Thomas the Cub scout leader will leave a container at North Country Inn and Salol One stop.
I called the bank to see if we could leave a container there and I will need to wait until Monday to talk to the proper people. (Citizens and Border)
Does any one have any other locations we might be able to use.
Super One is not an option. Corporate does not allow.

UPDATE: For those of you that missed Tue night meeting we spoke about the upcoming pinewood derby, candy bar fundraiser & camps. I need to know how many kits you need/want so I can order the rest if need be. Family of Scouts may join in & make their own cars as well. They are $5 per kit. Candy bars are $60 per box of 60 count. Scouts earn $15 to go into the Scout account. We pay $45 per box. If you would like to sell the bars let me know by tomorrow Tue, March 10th. This was a voting issue at the meeting. Please let me know either way you decide. If you are interested in the camps please contact me. Thanks Mellissa

Reminder: Den Meeting tonight @ 6pm @ Messiah. We will have a meeting before we break into Dens. We will have a lot of topics to discuss & voting will be necessary to make sure it's the route we want to take. If you are not going to be there contact me & I will fill you in.
LIONS DEN ONLY: Your den will not be meeting tonight. Instead will be meeting next Tuesday, March 10, 2020 @ 4pm @ 102 WILD Radio Station in Roseau to take a tour of the station. Thanks, Mellissa

Sending out a quick reminder to adult volunteers and parents. This is a great opportunity to interact with district volunteers.

As a reminder, this Thursday January 16th we will be broadcasting Roundtable at Messiah Lutheran Church in Roseau.

Our district Commissioner Tom Henderson and Roundtable Commissioner Perry Vogel will be joining me. Please pass the word along to other parents and bring a group with you to ask questions and meet Tom and Perry.

6:00 pm will be Direct Contact Leader training for Cub Scout Leaders followed by 7:00 pm Roundtable.

Let’s fill the room with as many people as possible!

New Update: we need to change the meeting tonight at the Messiah. Everyone will need to work at home on a lesson. I am sorry for the inconvenience.
