Huge thanks to one of our sponsors. Any deer (buck or doe) checked in at the station by a youth hunter is entered into the drawing.

Friday morning was a cold and windy one! We'll be back at the station in the morning to check in more deer. Congratulations to the successful hunters that stopped by this morning.

Youth deer season opens tomorrow! 🦌🧡 Blaze orange on, tag it right, and pack the snacks. Bring your deer by Station 2 in Rose, 7 AM–Noon, Fri–Sun. We'll have laptops ready to help with your E-check, and every deer checked in = an entry for the r***e! Good luck, young hunters!

Nothing brings a fire crew together like guessing the score of someone else's buck… and roasting each other's guesses. 😂🦌
All in good fun. Mostly. 😐

Youth hunters, bring your deer to CRFD Station 2 this weekend, and we promise to be nicer about yours!

The crew got a little carried away bragging about their own bucks. 🦌😂
Chief had to remind them who this weekend is really for. 😐

Youth hunters, bring your deer to CRFD Station 2 this weekend for check-in!

How NOT to score a buck: a firefighter's guide. 📏😑
Luckily, one of us actually knows what he's doing.

Nothing says “weekend” quite like rolling out of bed before the sun to spend Saturday morning pumping engines.

Our firefighters spent Saturday morning training, moving water, testing equipment, and confirming that coffee remains a critical piece of emergency apparatus.

Thanks to everyone who showed up and put in the work. Sleep was sacrificed, skills were sharpened, and the engines did exactly what they were supposed to do.
