Leach Education Foundation was created in 2023 by Leach community members in an effort to develop programs that support academic success and meet infrastructural needs of Leach School. LEF has since grown in mission to include improving the access to resources and cultural activities in the Leach community. LEF in a grassroots initiative that is working to bring grant funding to the Leach and abov

e all, support the needs of families and children in the Leach community. We do this through being proactive, communicating with the school and public, building relationships with any parent or community member that are interested in participating and practicing transparency. Farmers market update: we have decided to close early due to the extreme heat. Our vendors are starting to pack up now if you have last minute purchases you want to make.

This week is Farmers Market Week! This Saturday from 8am-1:00pm at the Leach Volunteer Fire Department.

Vendor booths are $15 and can be paid the day of the market. We have a great selection of bakers and crafters who come out, and we would love to have lots of produce and eggs available this month! 🫑🥒🥦🍞🥚

If you are a vendor and would like to join us, please let us know you'll be there by commenting below.

We have also decided to continue our market into September and October by community request! The third Saturday of the month from 8am-1pm. 🍂🍁🍂

🌞 FREE SUMMER MEALS FOR KIDS! 🌞
This summer, children 18 and younger can receive FREE weekly meal boxes packed with 5 days of breakfasts, lunches, and snacks!
📦 WHO CAN RECEIVE MEALS?
All children ages 18 and under, regardless of need. Must be an Oklahoma Resident.
• First-come, first-served.
• Parents or legal guardians may pick up meal boxes on behalf of children who are not present.
• Siblings, neighbors, family friends, and non-legal guardians may NOT pick up boxes for absent children.
• If a child is present with a non-legal guardian, the child may receive the meal box directly.

We are still on the search for young men and ladies to be a part of our youth advisory board!

This is a wonderful opportunity to practice community leadership, volunteerism, and build skills to include on your resume. Youth who are interested, please contact us.

We're on the search for Youth Advisory Council members.

The ideal people would be motivated to be involved in community events, willing to participate in one meeting per month, and excited to share what youth in our area want and need.
