Just a reminder that YAC Orientation is this Saturday 8/29 from 10am–1pm at the Gahagan Nature Preserve! 🎉

We’ll have a cookout, scavenger hunt, and plenty of time to go over what YAC is, what we do, and what we have planned for the year!

If you’re going into 8th–12th grade and are interested in YAC, you’re more than welcome to come hang out and learn more. No need to already be a member!

🎓 A LEGACY OF BELIEVING IN THE NEXT GENERATION

Harry and Marjorie Walbridge believed strongly in the power of education and they put that belief into action.

Together, they gave their time and talents to Roscommon County through organizations like Rotary, Lions, Zonta, the Masonic Lodge, and their church. Harry also served as a school counselor, helping guide young people toward their futures.

Today, their legacy continues through the Harry and Marjorie Walbridge Scholarship Fund, which has awarded $42,850 in scholarships to local students pursuing college, community college, university, or trade and technical education.

Their generosity reminds us that a legacy isn't simply what we leave behind.
