This morning, I had the honor on the behalf of Roscoe Masonic Lodge #75 to donate 20+ Old Settlers Day passes to the Goldie B. Floberg Center. The staff was really excited to take the kids to OSD this weekend. Proud to be a Mason!

Established in 1849, just twelve years after Winnebago County established its current borders and 110 years before the village of Roscoe incorporated, Roscoe Lodge No. 75 is steeped history. It's membership rolls have always contained many if not all the Village's leaders. As our institution ages we seek to continue a generations old tradition of leadership. We have begun the process of becoming more involved in the much newer institutions in the area such as the Roscoe Area Chamber of Commerce and many others. If your church, non-profit, or charitable organization could the help and support of the World's Oldest Fraternity let us know. We are here to Make Good Men Better and to inspire and enable faith, hope and charity of all types.

While religion and politics are the only topics banned from discussion within a masonic lodge; we vehemently support all institutions of faith and civic participation. We will NOT aid in the promotion of a particular candidate, party, view, or political issue or the conversion of any person to any faith.

We will support a religious institution's charitable activity which are made available to the community at-large, e.g. food pantries that are open to the public.

We will support political organizations by encouraging voting and civic participation. We however will not contribute to any campaign or party.

I'll be working on the website this week. I now have a copy of the old website so if it goes down again it won't be an issue as it was before. We will be adding a google calendar and hope to coordinate with other masonic bodies in the area to get everyone contributing their event dates to it.
