☀️ Sunshine vs. Shamrocks ☘️

One of our favorite Lady Shamrocks traditions happened again tonight... and somehow, we still can't explain it.

Every summer, our amazing group of 5- and 6-year-old Sunshines spend a few weeks learning the game, making friends, and having fun. Then they get the chance to take on our 8U Lady Shamrocks in what has become the most entertaining game of the year.

And every. single. year...the Sunshines win. 😂

We're convinced they have some sort of secret strategy, or maybe our 8U girls just can't bring themselves to get an out against all those smiling faces.

In all seriousness, this game is about so much more than the final score. It's about building confidence, creating memories, and giving our youngest players something to look forward to as they grow in our program. Watching these little girls beam with pride after making a play or getting a hit reminds us exactly why we do what we do.

A huge thank you to our incredible volunteer coaches who dedicate their summer evenings to teaching the fundamentals, encouraging every player, and making softball a positive experience for these girls. Your time, patience, and passion are helping create the next generation of Lady Shamrocks, and we couldn't do it without you.

Congratulations to all of our Sunshines for another undefeated season against the Shamrocks. At this point, we may have to start investigating. 😅💚🥎
