We work hard in the off season to make sure our kids at Ropes have quality competition to play outside of our own Ropes teams. We announce who we are playing, to the best of our ability, before registration ends so the parents can decide if playing in this league vs this kind of quality and quantity competition with their Ropes teammates is a good option for them. So with less than 2 weeks to go in registration, see below the towns we will be in competition with for the upcoming 2026 season (subject to change (some might still join we are waiting to hear from) - more or less because we can’t control what others do - just what they tell us):

The schools that have football organizations are:
Meadow (new to league)
Sundown (new to league)
Slaton
Ropes
Smyer (new organization altogether)

Towns that have teams playing in our league but not playing under any school organization:
Levelland
Whiteface
Tahoka

Starting season #4, we are excited for the turnout and look forward to some healthy competition with our neighbors. Less than two weeks to go before registration ends June 28th. Don’t miss out!

🔔 Give Caleb Henson a “ring” if you have any questions about football and Kiley Kelley a “ring” about anything cheer related. Don’t let cost be a problem - we have scholarships to help kids out if their families can’t afford it this season.

🌪️ This season is coming in quick! Very excited for the new fun memories the Ropes kids will make together. We look to promote great chemistry and teamwork amongst all our teams so they might have great future successes together in junior high/high school in Ropes Athletics!

Thanks to Donovan Martin for the pictures from our RYFC team introductions and cheer routine during pregame of the Ropes gs Sundown varsity football game last Friday night! We had a blast. Big thanks to all our volunteer youth coaches, Kasey Davis, Kiley Kelley, Dade Cowby, and Coach sticker for all the help to pull this off!
