PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Winter Storm Warning for Hockley county. A warming station will be at the Ropes ISD Football Field House. If someone looses power or gas and needs a place to stay warm, this facility will be available. Leave your faucets dripping and cabinet doors open to help with pipes from freezing. Please check on your neighbors. If you need to utilize the warming station please contact Susan at 806-891-6084. Stay warm and safe.

Hometown Christmas is today! We have 2 very special guests, Colton Mortensen singing some carols and Santa. Come out at 7 and have some cookies provided by Smith Co Homes, hot cocoa provided by Republic Services and a jolly good time! See you at the community building.

Beautiful things are happening on Main Street!! Here is a sneak peek. Ropes Economic Development is doing a beautification project and is working on a community picnic area next to City Hall.

Ropes Economic Development has been busy! Currently there is a Beautification project going on for local businesses. EDC has had good response and will be modifying and moving forward to make Ropes beautiful. Coming soon, a community picnic area. It will be a very nice covered picnic area with tables and sitting to enjoy. Who knows what well will happen, this committee is working hard for our town.
