Ohio Relief Haulers

Please note - we want to send help to NC and all of the surrounding areas that have been impacted by the Hurricane. Unfortunately, there is extremely limited to no access in these areas yet due to the need for road cleanup. If the opportunity presents itself with the ability to make a haul, we will post all the details on our page!

Some have asked if we want to help… yes we do!!! We sure do want to help when the time is right. We can’t get into the affect areas at this time but we are in contact with some good people. Just as soon as we get word from coordinating parties on the receiving end we will do what we are best at! I borrowed this picture from the North Carolina National Guard page to show how different things are with this disaster. As much as we want to show up with semi trucks and deliver the things they need, we just can’t access these mountains yet. Stick with us as we hope to call on you all to support this effort very soon 💚🇺🇸

PS: if anyone has a Chinook or a contact feel free to pass it on. We’d be happy to load a few of them too!

Looking for good quality dairy hay. One of our good friends that has helped in many cases has opened his dairy to take in roughly 80 head of the cows from the barn fire in Ashtabula and could use good quality alfalfa.

Please note that this is all very early stages of dealing with cows being displaced so there is not alot of information at this time. If you think you could help or want to help in other ways it may be needed later.

Tonight we were the guests on a friends agriculture podcast, we were honored to talk about all the adventures that we have had within Ohio Relief Haulers. Check out this great episode as well as many other episodes on AG focused podcast "The Secondairy Podcast" with Travis Thompson.

Travis has helped the organization in the past and has been a great friend for a few years, it was great to have the opportunity to be apart of something great that he has to help in getting people involved with great AG knowledge.

Side note, there isn't enough time in a day to tell of the great stories that we've had in past years, I tried to get em in but many were left out. Thank you to everyone that has helped and impacted the live of others in our AG Community.

The guys made it to the destination this afternoon. Shook hands with great people and passed along the hope to keep farmers moving forward. This is why we do what we do. We also want to say thanks again to all that have donated, without you, this doesn't happen.

In addition to the group of semis are another two guys pretty well known, black one is driven by Nate Yoder and yellow driven by Eldon Hershberger. These two are always a joy for the ride and keep you laughing the entire ride. Keep these two in your thoughts as they get the hay down to Florida.

Hay donation was made by new donor that is out of the Cincinnati part of the state.
Ryan Markey of BOF Angus Farms has stepped up in a big way to send two semi loads of hay to help ranchers in Florida.

Again just want to make a huge shout out to the guys making this all come together. God speed as you navigate the roads to Florida.

Last night a group of semis hit the road to Florida.

This truck is known pretty well among our group, Leroy Hershberger, has been on most of our runs and knows how to really shine up his rig. Thank you Leroy for being able to send this load down the road!!! Be safe in your travels.

As well as a few anonymous fuel donors from the Zanesville to help offset the cost to get it there.

We would like to give a special shout out!!
With fuel costs being so high to get hay down to Florida, drivers do their best to find sponsors for their trips. We have a few semis heading south very soon and we would like to shed some light on sponsors for the semis.

The farmers from Columbiana and Salem area, Eldon Fulb and the Burea Christian Fellowship Church has pulled together to help make the way for not one semi but two semis to make the trip down to Florida with hay to help with the flooding in some areas that have still not yet receded.

These are the things we need to look at in life, there is still compassion among us, there is hope for fellow neighbors, close and far.

Thank you again and we will have more (pics and info) on thos semis when the time comes in coming weeks

All our drivers made it home late last night. Put alot of miles behind them in just 3 days. Thank you all for keeping them in your thoughts and following them on the journey.
