Edinburg Fire Department is proud to congratulate FF Zach Kegg! 🎉

FF Kegg, recently graduated from the Ohio Fire Academy. Through this fire training academy, FF Kegg stayed on campus in Columbus for 10 weeks of rigorous fire training.

His day started at 5 am with physical training in the gym then off to class and live fire training until 5 pm. 🔥

FF Kegg graduated with Firefighter level II certification as well as HazMat Operations/Awareness and certified EVOC. (EVOC is an emergency vehicle operations course)

We are proud of his continued hard work and dedication to our Edinburg Community. FF Kegg goes above and beyond the call of duty! Congratulations!

Congratulations to this new family! Edinburg Fire Department responded mutual aid to help Palmyra and Berlin twp fire department and the most beautiful surprise of all...a baby girl was delivered in our EMS Squad. We couldn't be more happy for this family and thankful for this little blessing! 👣

Yesterday, several members of Berlin Township Fire Department had the incredible privilege of assisting with the unexpected delivery of a beautiful baby girl. The birth took place in an Edinburg EMS squad while en route to the hospital on the turnpike.

The baby was in breech presentation, and thanks to the teamwork and calm response of the four-person EMS crew, mom and baby both did well. We are happy to report that both are healthy, doing great, and recovering comfortably.

Today, crew members Paramedic Megan Duarte and AEMT Jennifer Payne had the opportunity to visit mom and baby at the hospital. Berlin EMT Sebrina Barnhouse and Edinburg EMT Tom Eland, who were also part of the delivery crew, are not pictured.

Congratulations to the family on their beautiful new addition. We are honored to have been part of such a special moment.

Here comes Santa Claus! Santa Parade!! Be sure to watch and even stand at the end of your driveway for a Santa visit!!!

Santa will be back in Edinburg for our annual Santa Parade and Gift Delivery
Saturday December 20th
We will begin at 10am amd be done at approximately 5pm

Wrapped gifts with a name tag securely attached can be dropped off at the Edinburg Fire station until Wednesday December 17th.
There is a form to fiill out with address amd contact information.
