Nora Rye and I have spent the last few days giving Dogwood Studio a much needed top to bottom cleaning, and I've got some wish list items I'd like to send out to our friends: kitchen towels, pot holders/hot mats, silverware (especially forks -- ever eat spaghetti with a spoon?), pots and pans, file cabinet, book cases, printer/copier. FREE Poetry Workshop this Saturday!! Guest instructor Tim Lockridge from Virginia Tech will be leading a poetry workshop here at Dogwood from 1:30pm until 5:30pm on May 28th. We will then feed you (probably pizza) and go to the Wild Bean at 7pm for a poetry reading featuring You, other community members, and Tim.
