Romney Rotary met today for our Christmas Luncheon at The MainStreet Grill in Romney and had some fellowship and a little fun with a thieves gift exchange. It’s been a great year with this group! We’ll be back in January 2026! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Thank you to our team and our community for your support.

July 24th was a great rain date for the Romney Rotary Scholarship golf tournament. We’d like thank all our Sponsors and Teams. All your contributions continue to support our senior scholarship and our new volunteering scholarships for high school students.

We truly have the best community supporting youth efforts and programs to encourage developing successful young adults who also value volunteering to improve our community

Thank you to everyone that helped with Route 50 trash pick up today along Route 50 west of Romney bridge. (Sorry we don’t have a picture of the entire crew) We had 21 people helping. That included 11 Rotarians, and from the high school 3 DECA representatives, 5 representatives from HHS athletics, and 2 from HHS Yearbook. We are grateful for all our volunteers taking time to clean up our environment.

What is a Paul Harris Fellow?

Rotary established the Paul Harris Fellow recognition in 1957. The award is given by Rotary International to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the community. A Paul Harris Fellow is someone who has contributed, or had contributions made in their name, of $1,000 to the Rotary Foundation. Recipients receive a certificate and a gold pin to recognize their efforts.
