Your environment directly influences who you are and what you do. What and who you surround yourself with impacts who you will become.
A negative environment will cause negative effects on you. Surrounding yourself with negative people and negative social media posts will influence negative thoughts. Negative thoughts will influence negative feelings, negative actions, and negative results.
A messy and unorganized environment can cause you to feel anxiety or lazy. Feeling anxiety can cause unnecessary stress and pressure. Feeling lazy can cause you to not work as hard or not be motivated to get up and take action. This can hold you back from reaching your greatest potential.
An environment filled with cues for bad habits such as unhealthy food, social media that causes jealousy or envy, or TV or excess video games or social media can cause you to continue bad habits that don’t help you grow. These negative cues tempt you to participate in the bad habits that will hold you back.
Make your environment a positive environment. Surround yourself with positive people, positive things, positive posts, and productive habits. Place books around your environment to encourage reading and learning. Organize your environment to reduce anxiety and set yourself up to be productive. Surround yourself with healthy foods and water to encourage healthy eating and nutrition. Unfollow negative social media accounts to get rid of jealousy or feelings of sadness or envy. Delete or hide apps that cause you to be unproductive. Lay your practice clothes out so you are more likely to get in them and practice. Hang out with positive people to influence positive thoughts, actions, and results for yourself. Be around people who are at a higher level than you to push you to be great and reach that next level.
Your environment is so important! Positive environment = positive thoughts and feelings = positive actions and results.
Start taking more control of your life and your game by controlling your environment.
