The Sir Knights of Rome Commandery wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

Sir Knights,
As we enter the holiday season, let us remember why this time of year is so special. Our ancient brethren dedicated themselves to protecting and serving pilgrims traveling to the Holy Land. Their example reminds us of our own calling: to serve with honor, compassion, and unity.
There are countless opportunities to make a difference-food drives, toy drives, food pantries, and many other charitable efforts throughout our communities. I encourage each of you to come together as a group and seek ways to lend a helping hand.
Wishing you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May this season inspire us all to serve with purpose and goodwill.

A Thanksgiving message from our Right Eminent Grand Commander, Daniel C. Ricketts;

Sir Knights of Georgia,

As we approach the holiday of Thanksgiving, I am moved to reflect upon the profound fellowship that distinguishes our each of our Commanderies across our great state of Georgia and our Grand Commandery. We are each united under the banner of our chivalric order and most especially, our faith. We are bound not only by tradition, but by our shared commitment to serve our Lord and Savior, our Order, and one another as true Sir Knights.

It is in this spirit of unity and devotion that I express my deepest gratitude for your unwavering dedication, your selfless acts, and your continual resolve to live by the ideals of our noble Order and I give thanks for every one of you, the Sir Knights of our Order.

This Thanksgiving holiday, remember to “Be the Crusader!” It is a challenge that echoes throughout our history, inspiring each of us to uphold the virtues of courage, compassion, and integrity.

As we gather with family, friends, and loved ones during this festive holiday, may we remember the privilege bestowed upon us to carry forth the light of Christ and the legacy of the Knights Templar.

Let gratitude fill our hearts for the blessings we have received, for the strength of our fraternity, and for the opportunities we are given to serve with honor.

May each Sir Knight, together with those dear to you, be embraced by peace and joy.

May the Lord grant each of you wisdom in your endeavors, safe travels and may your homes be filled with laughter, kindness, and the warmth of cherished memories. As we celebrate this Thanksgiving, let us renew our vow to stand together, ever vigilant, ever faithful, and ever courageous in our pursuit of our Savior’s ideals.

With heartfelt thanks and blessings, I wish each of you the most joyful and meaningful holiday of Thanksgiving!

Fraternally and Knightly,

Daniel C. Ricketts
Right Eminent Grand Commander
