ABOUT GREATER ROME SHRM
Greater Rome Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has been an affiliate chapter of the National Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) since 1998. We’re here to serve the Human Resource professionals of the Greater Rome area encompassing all of Floyd County, as well as parts of Bartow, Gordon, Polk and other Northwest Georgia counties.
Greater Rome SHRM meets on the second Tuesday of each month at Hawthorn Suites in beautiful downtown Rome, Georgia. Parking is provided in the Hawthorn Suites private lot at no cost to meeting attendees. In addition to monthly luncheons, the chapter offers two annual seminars in the spring and fall aimed at keeping HR professionals up to date on current issues such as employment law, compliance and changes in the industry. The monthly luncheons and seminars are included in the yearly membership fee. In addition, Greater Rome SHRM offers a discount on yearly membership fees to those who are National SHRM members.
