Kitten season is here, and rescues everywhere are overflowing with tiny lives needing help. Floyd Felines is currently caring for vulnerable kittens and cats who need medical care, formula, food, litter, foster supplies, vaccinations, spay/neuter services, and safe places to grow.

We made a difference.

Rosy showed up to the wrong house. She was only seeking shelter and food. She was unwanted. Threats were made out loud. Her life was in danger.

We rescued Rosy from a bad situation. We Spayed Rosy. And found her a home where she was a treasure not a burden.

Better days are ahead as today she was placed in a wonderful barn home with a mom who cares about each of her cats!

Rosy you are safe. Your life has always mattered

🐾🐾working cats seeking a safe home 🐾🐾🐾

Did you know thousands of feral cats die in shelters each year??? They have no chance of getting out without us (and rescues like us). —we’ve been given a list of feral cats that will die without our help.

Some are not Feral just scared and in shock. They are looked at as nuisances when in reality, they help kill mice and snakes. Our goal is try to not let any feral cat get put down when it’s no fault of their own why they are taking into a shelter.

Can you please help us with this mission???

We often say “their lives matter” and that includes the scared cats too.

Requirements to adopt an outside working cat is a safe shelter (barn, car port, or outbuilding) with an acclimation period, daily cat food and clean water.

Floyd felines ensures every cat delivered is spayed, has an up to date rabies vaccine and FVRCP shot.

Please reach out, there are many in need with a short window to get them to safety.

When people ask us why we keep trying…we show them these faces.

These kittens didn’t ask to be born. They didn’t get to pick where they were born, what county they would be born into, or the resources available to them.

With everything stacked against them, they still have fight in them.

The hope keeps us going, the desire for a world that more humans care, the mission of providing a safe space for healing. We can try.

We don’t know what their future holds, but we know they will be given a chance, the vet care we have access to and most of all love.

The days are harder than you can imagine but we try. We try to give them better days

$2500 of medical funds are needed as we have 6 eye surgeries to fund, along with food, spay surgeries and vaccines.

Please spay and neuter. This is preventable.

Who remembers Blue?

Blue was surrendered to a local animal control. We knew he needed a home where he could feel safe and know love, as he is blind.

Just look at Blue!! He found the perfect family who has given him the love he has always deserved and he is thriving!!!

Meet Bambi!

Now that she’s done nursing her kittens, she’s ready to find her furever home! She loves to cuddle and supervise everything you do. She’s very smart and knows how to get your attention when her water or food bowl are empty! She’s good with other cats and dogs. She also loves kids! At this very moment she’s sitting next to her foster family on the couch watching a show.

What we’ve learned in the last 24 hours:

1. Peanut is a boy, 5 weeks old, and 1.5 pounds

2. Peanut does indeed have a broken leg and radial nerve damage.

3. The plan is continue to get the most weight on him as possible, continue with antibiotics and wound cleanings. And we wait, we wait to see how his leg can stabilize and if there is any way to save his leg, we want to hold onto that hope.

We’ve also learned that we have the best supporters, vet partners and volunteers.

Peanut has an entire fan club rooting for him and for that we are better for.

The days are long but the joy is great.

Peanut is safe because of each of you. We had to try. Thank you
