🌈🐴 In Loving Memory of Cleo — Where Trinity Rescue’s Story Began ❤️

Some horses leave hoofprints on our hearts that time can never erase. Cleo was one of those special souls.

As Trinity Rescue’s very first rescue, Cleo will forever hold an extraordinary place in our story. I’ll never forget the first time we saw her. She was terribly emaciated, frightened, and unsure of the world around her. But when she walked into our barn, she gently laid her head on Mindy’s shoulder. In that moment, something beautiful began.

In 2013, Mindy adopted Cleo, beginning 13 incredible years together. Cleo was pampered, cherished, and absolutely adored every single day. She lived the kind of life we dream of for every horse who comes through our gates. We truly could not have wished for a better home or a more beautiful life for her.

Last night, with Mindy lovingly by her side, Cleo crossed the Rainbow Bridge. While our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing that she left this world surrounded by the same unconditional love that had carried her through all those wonderful years.

Mindy and Cleo were more than horse and owner. They were soulmates. Their bond was something truly beautiful to witness, and we know that one day, they will find each other again.

Sweet Cleo, you were our first rescue, but you became so much more. You were family. You were loved beyond measure. And you took a little piece of all our hearts with you.

Run free, beautiful girl. Until we meet again. ❤️🌈🐴

💕 The Best Kind of Happy Ending 💕

Today, we are overjoyed to share that Madison has officially been adopted by Sylvia Burton! 🐴❤️

Madison came to Trinity Rescue when her previous owner was facing a difficult personal season and made the incredibly selfless decision to ask us to care for her. It was an act of love, ensuring Madison would be safe, cared for, and surrounded by people who would always put her well-being first.

Over the months, an extraordinary bond grew between Madison and Sylvia. What began as compassionate care turned into unwavering trust, friendship, and a love that simply couldn’t be denied.

Today, Madison officially becomes a Burton, and we couldn’t be happier for them both.

We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Madison’s previous owner. Thank you for loving Madison enough to make an incredibly difficult decision and for trusting Trinity Rescue with her care. Your selflessness gave Madison the opportunity to find exactly where she was meant to be, and that gift will never be forgotten.

Please join us in congratulating Sylvia and Madison on this beautiful new chapter. We know their future together will be filled with love, peace, and countless happy memories.

Cray, our 31-year-old gentleman, waits every day for his 28-year-old sweetheart, Rogue. While the rest of the herd heads out, he patiently stays behind until she’s ready.

Now that’s a lifetime of love. 🐴💕🥹

Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads out there—whether your children walk on two legs or four! ❤️

Today we celebrate the men who show up every day with love, patience, guidance, and unwavering devotion. From teaching life lessons and fixing what’s broken to handing out treats, belly rubs, and endless adventures, dads make the world a better place.

To the fathers of human children, fur babies, feathered friends, and all the animals who call you “Dad,” thank you for the care, protection, and love you give so freely.

Wishing all of our dads a day filled with appreciation, laughter, and the company of those who love you most. Happy Father’s Day! 💙🐾🐴

This weekend, we were excited to host a Groundwork & Respect Clinic for our volunteers, led by our longtime trainer, Betsy Fajen.

At Trinity Rescue, we believe that learning never stops. Providing opportunities for our volunteers to grow their natural horsemanship skills helps them become more confident handlers while building stronger, more meaningful relationships with the horses in their care.

Through groundwork exercises and clear communication, participants learned valuable techniques for earning respect, establishing trust, and creating a solid foundation for partnership with their horses. Everyone did a fantastic job, and the horses absolutely loved the extra one-on-one attention they received throughout the clinic.

A huge thank you to Betsy for sharing her knowledge and passion, and to all of our volunteers for their dedication to continuing their education and improving the lives of our horses every day. ❤️🐴

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms out there — the ones raising babies, grown kids, fur babies, bottle babies, and sometimes even broken souls that just needed love. 💜

At Trinity Rescue, we see motherhood in so many forms every single day. The protective mare watching over her herd. The volunteer showing up exhausted but still loving on horses like they’re her own. The women who pour their hearts into caring, nurturing, comforting, teaching, and giving… even when nobody sees the hard parts.

Today we celebrate YOU. The moms. The bonus moms. The grandmas. The grieving moms. The animal moms. The women who make this world softer, safer, and kinder simply by loving so deeply.

Thank you for every early morning, every sacrifice, every hug, every prayer, every feed bucket, every muddy boot, and every act of love that keeps hearts — human and horse alike — going strong.
