All too often in an over taxed shelter world, dogs that are elderly or have debilitating health conditions are euthanized. At Luke’s Hidden Haven, we see value in every life and even handicapped dogs are cherished and find love. Please meet blind Buster and deaf Butch - both are very old dogs, but still deserve love and care which they get lots of at Luke’s ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Lukes Hidden Haven, a no kill animal sanctuary and wild life preserve: We enjoy hearing from Luke’s family members and the dogs they have adopted. This is Angie and Bob on a trip to Philadelphia from Rome PA. Cinnamon was a wonderful passenger. She loves to go for rides. She is enjoying her new sweet life! Such good news!

At Luke’s Hidden Haven, we have a very special girl looking for a forever home. Shelly is a 4-year-old mixed breed girl. She is spayed and microchipped. Shelly is very well potty trained and does not chew things up maybe a stuffed toy sometimes tho 😂. She would love a home where she is the only dog, but thinks she might be able to get along with other ones with proper introductions. Shelly loves people, walks, and cuddles. We just had to share this video of our sweet Jake enjoying the Freedom Run at Luke’s Hidden Haven. Carly, one of our amazing volunteers,  buys Jake special treats. Jake loves to give all the girls hugs and enjoys his daily runs in the yard. He is such a happy guy!!
