REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL ANNOUNCEMENT

The Rome Ruff Riders snowmobile club has been awarded a grant through the Maine Trails Program (MTP). The MTP provides funds to develop and maintain recreational trails.

The Rome Ruff Riders snowmobile club is soliciting proposals to rehabilitate five different sections of our trail system. Request For Proposal (RFP) documents are available for download with proposal guidance, schedule, map and project specifications. Proposal responses are due June 19, 2026.

It’s nice to see some snow again however our trails are closed for the season.

Our March meeting is Tuesday the 10th, 7 PM at the Rome town hall

The trails are still good, only about 5% dirt. Everything is being groomed today. Enjoy them while you can.

We had a nice little ride today. Five members took a trip to the Weathervane for lunch, 60 miles. Mostly good trails, passing 4 groomers did’t hurt.

The groomer was out last night on the east side! (Thank you Matt!). Trails are in great shape. Have fun and please stay on the trail!!

A little more snow to add to Friday storm so we will be out grooming tonight and the next few days so be cautious on corners and hills
