I've been pretty consistent at dropping the ball in letting you know when we get an empty container and then picking it back up when our container is full again. 🤦‍♀️😄 But the part I really love is that you keep NOT LETTING all this glass go to the landfill! Our glass is getting picked up this morning. We are so blessed! ❤♻️

The FIFA World Cup came and went, my daughter moved to Knoxville for college, and somewhere in the middle of the laughter, memories, and tears, I decided to check on our glass container, and I am in awe of how much glass Rome continues to recycle, day in and day out. Thank you for keeping this dream alive. 💗

Could it be true that our recycling doesn’t actually get recycled? I asked the guy who emptied my recycling bin yesterday and he said, “it all goes to the same place.” 💔😔

Sweeping up broken glass is not one of my biggest joys, but seeing the amount of bottles and jars we recycle in Rome, is! So grateful that our full container was picked up yesterday. 💗
