Rome Main Streets Rome Main Streets Alliance is a non-profit focusing on community growth and development in Rome NY. (A local affiliate of Main Street America.)

The people who make up Rome Main Streets are passionate advocates, dedicated volunteers, influential stakeholders, and community organizers who work every day to turn the tide in our community—catalyzing reinvestment, creating jobs, and fostering pride of place.

Rome Main Streets Alliance was originally organized in 2002 by concerned citizens dedicated to economic growth and community development integrating historic preservation with meeting today's business and residential needs. It was incorporated as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) in August 2006. Rome Main Streets was reorganized in February 2016 with a new board of directors and staff reinvigorating the programs in anticipation of some exciting regional developments.

Rome Main Streets Alliance invites anyone interested in the growth and viability of our community to engage with us. Meetings are held the first and third Wednesday of each month at our headquarters, the upper level of 416 N. James Street. (accessible from the rear entrance)
