August 16 was the date we lost
Earl "Mr. Earl" Drummond. He was very instrumental in our VFW, and served in 2 different branches.
Better known as "The Marine"

It is with a deeply saddened heart that I inform you that Nancy Collins, aka MeMaw, passed away yesterday afternoon/evening. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the post. Nancy was loved by all who knew her & will be greatly missed. Our condolences go to the family & her friends. Rest In Peace, Memaw!

It it with a heavy heart that I am informing our community, that one of our own, Phonita Marshall, passed away today at 1:30 pm at the residence of her daughter, Ashley Marshall.
Our sincere thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Heaven gain an Angel this afternoon.

On Sunday, March 29th at 11:00 am a Ladies Auxiliary flag ceremony is planned for our Ms. Maggie Wilkinson at Holly Grove Cemetery at her gravesite. Please plan to attend in order to show Ms. Maggie this final respect. If you need a ride or would like to meet somewhere please p.m. Gail Steadham Herd.
