Western Hills Athletic Club

Western Hills Athletic Club The happiest place in Rollingwood. It is still a place for families to come together and swim, play, socialize, and just generally have fun.

The Western Hills Athletic Club (The Rollingwood Pool) is a non-profit organization set up in 1969 to provide a community pool for the families of Rollingwood, TX, to swim in. It's membership base (limited to 400 families living in the Eanes ISD) and activities offered (swimming, basketball, volleyball, tennis) have expanded over the years, but it's focus has not.

To Our WHAC Community:

There is a very active effort being made within our city to fight against the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). As a responsible facility, we need to take the appropriate steps to ensure the health and safety of our athletes, members and staff.

Therefore, following the leads of Mayor Adler and Travis County Judge Sarah Eckhardt, EISD, AISD, CDC Guidelines, Federal recommendations and USA Swimming recommendations, we will be closing WHAC through April 5, 2020 and suspending all practices and activities, including White Caps and Masters, during this time.

Thank you all for your understanding and patience throughout this unprecedented time. We will continue to provide updates to our WHAC community as soon as they become available.

Please continue to do your part in keeping our community safe, especially the most vulnerable.

Further information on the latest CDC Guideline can be found here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/large-events/mass-gatherings-ready-for-covid-19.html.

Thank you,
WHAC Board

To Our WHAC Community:

Due to rising concerns surrounding COVID-19, and recently confirmed cases in Austin, the WHAC Board and management have decided with an abundance of caution to temporarily close our facility until the end of Spring Break, effective immediately. This decision is a proactive one to safeguard the health of our WHAC community members and WHAC staff, and to allow our local authorities and health officials time to evaluate and direct the public.

We realize this may cause disappointment within our community, but the health and safety of our WHAC community, our employees, and their families is paramount.

We will continue to send updates on any additional closures.

Thank you for your patience, understanding and cooperation.

Stay safe and healthy!

Sincerely,

WHAC Board
