HDF was founded in 1997 and with the support of its generous donors helps more than 400,000 people help themselves in Pakistan. HDF has been working in partnership with top organizations such as Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund, United Nations, World Health Organization, PepsiCo Foundation, Imran Khan Foundation, among others to deliver programs in its regions. THE HDF HOLISTIC MODEL
While all development and charity programs are important, No single program is enough to truly tackle the poverty complex. That is why HDF implements an integrated program aimed at making a difference by improving the overall quality of life for our beneficiaries by focusing on 5 key areas including Education, Healthcare, Social Mobilization, Sustainable Environment and Economic Development. ON THE GROUND
We are not only a fundraising organization. Our highly trained, paid, staff of 700+ in all 4 provinces and Kashmir ensures that we efficiently tackle every project we undertake while maintaining an administrative overhead consistently under 10%. This also allows us to respond quickly in the wake of a crisis as we did during the Drought in 2000, the 2005 Earthquake, the IDP Crisis and the Flood Disaster of 2010.
