PROJECT: NO BULL works with Chicago area schools and/or community organizations to implement anti-bullying messages and programs that increase awareness and encourage safe environments for our youth. All forms of bullying are addressed including the newest form, cyber-bullying. Jarrett is available to speak publicly on the topic, in schools and in media broadcasts. Finally, an active social media
campaign is making the general public aware of JPF’s bullying prevention message. The program operates within a variety of schools all over the Chicago region, focusing on middle school aged children. The project includes parent education meetings and student anti-bullying presentations, as well as regular reminders to students of bullying preventive messages. Jarrett checks in periodically, announced and unannounced to the students, to ensure their status within the project in on target. The second initiative with JPF launched in June 2012, Jarrett Payton Academy. The name has since been revised to Jarrett Payton Leadership Academy. JPLA works to enrich the lives of young people across the Chicagoland area through athletics and leadership seminars. JPLA focuses on providing youth football camps to a diverse population of young men from 3rd grade through 8th grade. Leadership seminars are held for high school students participating in athletics. The football camp goes beyond being a regular sports camp – it incorporates wellness, education and leadership skill development, making JPLA an influence on and off the sports field. JPLA youth football camp is held at Mooseheart Child City & School, Mooseheart, IL.
