Las Candalistas Founded in 1967, Las Candalistas is a 501 (c) 3 fundraising organization benefiting children and the environment in the Southern California South Bay area.

For over 50 years, the amazing ladies of Las Candalistas have created events that inspire and entertain. We are a diverse and multi-talented group originally known for our "Walk on the Wild Side" event which celebrated the beauty of the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

Smiles, gratitude, and meaningful impact. On Monday we celebrated the presentation of our 2025-26 philanthropy grants, supporting non-profits that are transforming the lives of children and the environment across our South Bay community. We are honored to partner with these organizations and invest in a brighter future for all! We had an incredibly successful fundraising year (we exceeded our goals!) and were thrilled to be able to fully fund almost every one of these deserving philanthropies requests.

We had the privilege of welcoming Family Promise of the South Bay (LA), an incredible philanthropy, to our March General Meeting. Their mission is to help families seeking stable housing in the South Bay achieve sustainable independence through a community-based approach.

We are honored to continue our relationship with Family Promise and support children in need through their core shelter services and educational programming, including their 6-week Summer Learning Camp.

It was truly inspiring to hear about the meaningful work they’re doing in our community. Their passion, dedication, and impact remind us how powerful it is when people come together for a greater cause.🥰
