Dr. Shelton shared information about Equilibrium Ranch's mission to serve veterans, seniors, and retired residents by providing a supportive and caring community environment. His insights into the organization's work and vision were both informative and inspiring.

June is Rotary Fellowships Month
At its heart, Rotary is about people.
It's about building friendships, strengthening communities, and working together to make a difference. Through service projects, community events, leadership opportunities, and shared experiences, Rotary brings together individuals who are committed to something bigger than themselves.
The connections we make through Rotary often become lasting friendships, and those friendships help create meaningful change in our communities and around the world.
Thank you to our members, supporters, and community partners for being part of that mission.
Together, we are stronger. Together, we serve.

As May comes to a close, we reflect on a month focused on one of Rotary’s greatest investments — our youth.
From leadership opportunities and scholarships to mentorship and international exchange programs, Rotary continues to help shape the next generation of leaders, thinkers, workers, and changemakers.
Youth Service Month is a reminder that young people do not just represent the future… they are already making an impact today.
Thank you to every student, mentor, family, volunteer, educator, exchange host, and community member who helps open doors and create opportunities.
One conversation, one opportunity, one act of encouragement can change the direction of a young person’s life.
That matters.

May is Rotary Youth Service Month
One of the most powerful things Rotary does is connect young people to the world beyond their hometown.
Through Rotary Youth Exchange, students have the opportunity to experience different cultures, build lifelong friendships, learn new languages, and grow into confident global leaders. It is more than travel — it is learning empathy, understanding, independence, and leadership in real time.
In a world that feels more divided than ever, programs like Youth Exchange remind us that connection still matters.
The Rotary Club of Rolla is proud to support opportunities that help shape the next generation into compassionate leaders who think bigger, dream bigger, and serve bigger.
The future gets stronger when young people are given the chance to see the world through a different lens.
