Thanks to those who joined us this evening! π We were glad to welcome Moyo back and meet guests Xinyi and Mahnaz.
π Congratulations to our winners of the evening:
π Moyo (center) won Table Topics, making the case that boredom can be good for us, even though he insists heβs never bored himself! Our βhot takesβ theme had everyone weighing in on everything from creative hobbies to whether rabbits or squirrels would survive an apocalypse. This group has opinions! π
π Chris (right) won Prepared Speech with his Icebreaker, sharing how he saved $1,000 and set out at 17 to explore America by hitchhiking. From a small town in upstate New York to adventures across the country and eventually Europe, his stories brought us plenty of laughs and an encouraging message: donβt be afraid of the world. π Congratulations on your Icebreaker, Chris!
π Jim (left) won Evaluation, celebrating Chrisβs energy and storytelling while offering a helpful suggestion to slow down and pace his stories to elevate the listener's experience. π£οΈπ₯ Thoughtful feedback is one of the ways we help each other grow!
Guests are always welcome! Join us for Table Topics, our short impromptu speaking activity, or try a small meeting role. Itβs a friendly place to practice, meet people, and build confidence speaking in front of a group.
