Meet Jake Lewis!

Jake Lewis is from St. Louis, Missouri. Outside of classes, he enjoys fitness, playing guitar, attending concerts, fishing, hunting, working on hands-on projects, and playing video games. Jake decided to join Kappa Alpha Order after being welcomed by a group of like-minded individuals who shared many of the same collegiate goals and values. He was drawn to KA’s emphasis on excellence in leadership, academics, and traditional American values, and found a group of men he felt comfortable growing alongside.

Professionally, Jake has completed three internships, including one with Hitachi Energy and two with True Manufacturing, where he worked in Manufacturing Process and Project Engineering roles. He has also served as the Beta Alpha Chapter’s Marshal, where he was responsible for the preservation of the fraternity’s traditions, values, and rituals.

When asked what he enjoys most about KA, he said, “KA isn’t just a fraternity, it’s a brotherhood built on accountability and shared excellence. We’re here to push each other academically, professionally, and personally. When you join KA, you’re joining guys who will challenge you to grow and celebrate you when you do.”

Meet Jeremy Rish!

Jeremy Rish is a junior majoring in Mechanical Engineering from Centralia, Missouri. He chose to join Kappa Alpha Order because of the chapter’s strong academic culture, welcoming brotherhood, and commitment to upholding the ideals of gentility. Jeremy completed his second internship with Hitachi Energy this summer and is involved in undergraduate research in Missouri S&T’s LAMP Lab as well as serving as a member of the Formula Electric Design Team. In his free time, Jeremy enjoys hiking, weightlifting, and working on personal design projects.

When asked what he enjoys most about KA, Jeremy said, “KA has given me opportunities to grow both professionally and personally. Whether it’s preparing for exams, getting ready for the career fair, working toward my academic goals, or simply having people I can count on, I’ve always felt supported by my brothers. It’s motivating to be surrounded by men who work hard, hold each other accountable, and still know how to enjoy the college experience together.”
