If you had one of the remaining plaques on the benches under the big pavilion, I have removed them. Insurance was not going to cover the ones that were on the benches that survived the tornado. The park committee decided that we should replace the ones that were on those benches. I am listing those plaques below. If you want to get your plaque, then send us a message here.

Calling all Veterans in the Rolla area. Today is Bill Feelers 100th birthday and he will be at IHOP for dinner about 5:30. He is our local WWII Veteran and the people at IHOP want as many people as we can get to come celebrate his birthday with him. Sorry for the late notice.

Also today, we replaced the QR code on the Indian Wars monument as well as put one on each of the new monuments, the Military Working Dog and Military Family monuments.

Each of the monuments at the Veterans Memorial Park have a QR code. This enables anyone who would like to learn more about that monument to scan that QR code and go to a website with more information. Talk a walk along the history trail and see the monuments and learn more.

Today we placed the last two plaques on the current Wall of Honor. In the very near future we plan to add three more Walls of Honor along the side of the pavilion. We already have a few plaque orders for the new walls.

With all the pictures that have been posted about the monument dedication, we wanted to add just two more pictures. These were the stars of the dedication. One is for the Military Working Dogs, honoring the service of all the dogs who have served this country. They are an incredible asset to the military and have saved countless lives of our military members.
The second monument honors all of the Military Families. Someone who serves in the military volunteered for the job, their families did not. While the service member is away for training or deployments, its the other spouse and the children that have to stand up and take care of everything at home.

What a wonderful day at Rolla Veterans Memorial Park celebrating the dedication of our two newest monuments — the **Military Family Monument** and the **Military Working Dog Monument**. ❤️🐾

We are especially proud of **Mason and his Eagle Scout Project**, which brought the Military Working Dog Monument to life. What an amazing accomplishment and lasting tribute to those who served alongside our military heroes! 🇺🇸🐾
