BRLF is proud to announce that we're now an official member of the Center for Nonprofits through UAFS Center for Economic Development.

This membership represents our commitment to operating with integrity, accountability, and transparency as a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit in good standing with both the State of Arkansas and the IRS.

Building a nonprofit takes dedication behind the scenes — learning, growing, staying compliant, and creating a strong foundation to serve others well. We are incredibly grateful for the support and guidance we’ve received along the way from the Center for Nonprofits and especially Emily Treadaway, CNP Director, whose encouragement, resources, networking opportunities, and nonprofit guidance have already made a meaningful impact on BRLF as we continue building for the future.

We are honored to stand alongside other organizations in the River Valley who are working to strengthen our community and create lasting impact.

Thank you to everyone who believes in our mission and continues supporting the legacy we are building in Branton’s memory.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to attend The River Valley Social get together. This event is a monthly networking get together for women only and it was such an encouraging experience. There is something powerful about women coming together to support, encourage, and uplift one another while building meaningful connections in the community.

Networking is about so much more than business cards and introductions. It’s about relationships, learning from each other, sharing ideas, and finding ways to grow together. Women truly are some of the strongest supporters of other women, and that was evident throughout the entire event.

A special thank you to Hannah Harris, owner of Savvy Social Creative, for her informative presentation on the Do’s and Dont's of Social Media. There were so many great tips and valuable insights shared that are helpful for businesses, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs alike.

I enjoyed meeting so many new people and having conversations about community, collaboration, and making a difference. Women supporting women is a beautiful thing, and I’m grateful to have been part of it.

This quote can be applied to so many areas of life… but for those working to make a difference, it really hits.

Sometimes it feels like things aren’t moving as quickly as we’d like…
Like the impact isn’t as big as we hoped it would be by now.

When you care deeply, you want to see lives changed today, not months or years down the road.

But real impact—the kind that truly changes lives—doesn’t happen overnight. Strong nonprofits aren’t built in a day. Lasting change takes patience, consistency, and faith in the process.

Recently, in a conversation with a fellow nonprofit founder, a simple reminder came up—“Rome wasn’t built in a day.”

And it’s exactly the reminder needed when progress feels slow.

Delaying gratification doesn’t mean progress isn’t happening…It means something meaningful is being built, step by step.

No matter what you’re walking through—whether you’re leading, serving, building something, or simply trying to grow—this is your reminder:

What you’re doing matters. Even when the growth feels slow.

Every step. Every event. Every conversation… it’s all part of something bigger.

The work being put in today…
The seeds being planted right now…

They will grow because they’re rooted in your passion, your heart, and what you believe in. 💛

14 lives changed… in just one month.

In March, 14 adults were trained by the BRLF Teens Teach Tech team, Byte Squad. They came in feeling unsure, overwhelmed, and in some cases—like a burden for needing help in today’s digital world.

They walked out different.

Because of the patience and compassion of our teens, they learned how to join a Zoom call…
how to schedule doctor’s appointments, check test results, and message their providers…
how to create an email—and even sign their name with confidence.

But what they really gained was something much bigger:
independence. dignity. confidence.

No longer having to rely on others… no longer feeling left behind.

And the impact goes both ways.

Our teens aren’t just teaching technology—they’re discovering their voice, building leadership skills, and realizing the power they have to change someone’s life.

This is what Branton Ramsey Legacy Foundation is all about.
MAGIC in action. Real impact. Real lives changed.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Atwoods Ranch & Home Goods and store manager Cheryl Wiles for giving the Branton Ramsey Legacy Foundation the opportunity to be part of Hot Dog Days last Saturday.

These events are such a powerful example of what community looks like. Atwoods provides everything needed and opens their doors for local nonprofits like ours to raise funds that go directly back into the community. That kind of generosity doesn’t go unnoticed.

We are especially grateful for Cheryl, who has been incredibly supportive and helpful to BRLF—not just during events like this, but also through her continued support of our annual fundraiser, Brantstock – Music for a Grateful Heart, and the raffle held along with it. Her kindness, organization, and genuine heart for serving others have made a lasting impact on our foundation.

Because of opportunities like this, we’re able to continue our mission—supporting students, building connections, and creating impact through MAGIC: Music, Art, Gaming, IT, and Career Development.

To everyone who came out, grabbed a hot dog, and supported the cause—thank you. And to Atwoods, thank you for being a business that truly invests in the community you serve.

We’re so grateful to be part of a community like this. 💛

As a nonprofit, we’ve learned that while our mission may be different, many of the challenges we face are the same as for-profit businesses—growth, pricing, sustainability, and impact. Being in a room with people who are willing to share knowledge, ask hard questions, and genuinely support one another has been invaluable to us.

The RISE AND GRIND group has poured into us in ways that have helped shape how we think, plan, and grow as the Branton Ramsey Legacy Foundation. From practical training to real conversations, it’s a space where ideas turn into action.

If you’re a business or a nonprofit, this is the kind of community that helps you move forward—not alone, but alongside others who truly want to see you succeed.

Meetings are the third Friday of every month at 8:30 am in the Arvest Room at The Bakery District and are open to anyone.

We had a great meeting this morning with the RISE AND GRIND group!

Shout out and thanks to Brad V. Lewis for getting the gears turning on how we are pricing our services & products and where there may need to be some improvement.

I love that every month we are able to hear this meeting to helping businesses grow and think about their operations, but especially how we are also able to relate this to our NonProfits who are joining us!

Great conversation, good people, lots of growth.

I faced my fear of needles and donated blood for the first time last week at Our Blood Institute in Fort Smith —and with a rare B- blood type, I know it’s something I’ll keep doing. (Read my story they shared in the post below.)

Because of that one donation, the Branton Ramsey Legacy Foundation received $145!

Even more incredible—a single blood donation can save up to 3 lives.

And here’s the best part—you can help too. When you schedule a blood donation using BRLF's Donable link, https://dc.donable.com/brantoncares, and complete your donation at any donor site, BRLF also receives:

🩸$100 for each first-time OBI donor
🩸$35 for donors who haven’t donated in 2+ years
🩸$15 for returning donors
🩸Bonus opportunities for certain high-need blood types

One simple act can truly make a life-saving and life-changing impact.

Message us for more information or schedule your donation here ➡️ https://dc.donable.com/brantoncares.

Everyone—meet Donna. She's a superstar 🌟 Donna started Branton Ramsey Legacy Foundation honoring her son, and became a Donable® Cares partner to double its impact in the community.

She overcame and extreme fear of needles and gave her first blood donation, crediting the staff at Our Blood Institute for making it such a wonderful experience.

"What made the biggest difference, though, was how each staff member took the time to walk me through the process, explain what was happening, and offer constant reassurance," Donna said.

"Something I had built up in my mind as overwhelming became not only manageable, but actually a positive experience!"

Through Donable® Cares, this positive experience for Donna not only saved lives through blood donation, but raised funds for her son's foundation.
