The restrooms will remain closed for two or more weeks while new parts are ordered and the system is repaired. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

For the future, if you see suspicious activity in this, or any City park, please do not hesitate to contact Public Safety.

Way to go city of Rohnert Park! It's beautiful and needs to stay that way... right folks!

Dorotea Park restroom is now open during normal park hours! This completes a two year project to rehabilitate/replace City park restrooms that were previously closed due to persistent vandalism. I remember Mrs. Goff from my childhood. She was my friend, Robin's mother. I also remember her working at the John Reed school as a secretary, long ago. In more recent years I was able to visit and talk with Mrs. Goff about the Alicia Park declining conditions. She felt a real dissatisfaction about what she was seeing in the park, especially with the closing of the pool. She wanted to do something about it, but was unable. She said she used to enjoy taking her grandchildren to the park, but over the last few years, not as much! Thank you God for Blessing us with Mrs. Juanita Goff, and thank you Juanita for letting us into your life!

I just came across this news, though it be a few months old, saddened me to hear of it... If it weren't for Maurice Henry Fredericks and his longtime friend and business partner, Paul Golis we wouldn't have the Alicia Park, Pool or John Reed school... they were the founding fathers of Rohnert Park and donated the land in which the Park, Pool and School came to life on!

My heart says thank you, Maurice and Paul!

Maurice Henry Fredericks, long-time attorney and co-founder of the City of Rohnert Park, having just celebrated his 93rd birthday, passed on April 20, 2018 surrounded by family. Maurice was a tireless volunteer and community builder, beloved by his family and friends, who led by quiet example. Born....
