Great advice!

Is the primary job of a parent to give our kids every possible opportunity to prove themselves tiny geniuses (the American model), or is it our job to make them self-sufficient and confident citizens (the more European model)? I'm not sure that we can do both at the same time.

National BreastFeeding Week. A time to rejoice in the ability to feed our babies from our own bodies. BUT also a time to let go of disappointment if NOT able to breastfeed and remember the ultimate goal: TO FEED THE BABY.

Newborn Crying: Most newborns reach a crying peak at about 6 weeks. By 3 months they "usually" only cry for about an a hour a day. This is considered a "normal" crying pattern.
