This week’s outreach. We made it out to a local Motel that is acting as a make shift temporary shelter. A place where people are given a place to stay, while trying to get their life together, often on an empty stomach. We were able to feed everyone staying there, and then took what was left to the Ceterans coming home shelters where we fed others. Amy Foster’s warm cups of soup, sandwich bags with a bottle of water, chips, and a treat. Dr Graf brought more toothbrushes and toothpaste to match Randy and Amy’s additional toiletries and hand warmers. Friends, this is a joint effort and it doesn’t take much to do, and is so rewarding when most everyone hard up, comes up to tell you thank you and God bless you. Many seem like they are the ones trying to convince ME that God is good, when I’m there to encourage them. I guess God knows I need it too. Today, in our own little way, we had church and were able to bless some folks young and old, of many different backgrounds. Thank you to those of you that support Choosing To Live! NeverSuicide.org
