Hello PTA/NYFA Youth Anglers,

We had 61 PTA Div. Teams/ 49 JR Div. Teams/ and 74 HS Div teams that qualified out of a competition field of over 450 teams to compete on our 2026 Championship two day event on Pomme De Terre Lake.

We Awarded a little over $340,000 in NYFA Scholarships, Drury Scholarships, Team Pots, Payouts, Gift Cards, and laptops for our PTA and NYFA Championship. What an Amazing Championship.

Here are the results: for HS Division.

CONGRATULATIONS: to Jackson Burns and Brody Oneal from Stockton. They had a winning weight of 12.97 #

Big Bass 5.85 # went to Jentzen Pickren and Gavin Boswell from Ozark.

2026 HS Division TOY AWARD "Team of Year" went to Caden Ball and William Kuzemka from Gloria Deo. GREAT JOB!!

Our HS Essay Computer Draw Winners were Hayden Young and Alyssa Breaux from Hurley.

Our HS Essay Scholarship Draw Winners were Andrew Staats and Noah Ridling from Wentzville, and Parker Johnson and Paxton Wilson from Fordland.

Congratulations Everyone.

There is NO Doubt that these Championship Qualifiers and Winners of the PTA and NYFA are Truly the Best of the Best in the Mid-West on Bass Fishing.

Due to the delayed start, we have extended the weigh in times also. First flight is due in at 4:15 p.m., Second flight at 4:30 p.m., and Third flight at 4:45 p.m. Scales will be open early 3 p.m. for anyone wanting to come in early.

Thank you all for your patience as the conditions were unsafe for our anglers.

Hello NYFA High School and Junior Anglers,

CONGRATULATIONS!! to the teams that have qualified for the NYFA Championship. Remember standard registration applies. We will be Awarding over $300,000 in Team Pots, Scholarships, Drury Scholarships, and Prizes for this one day event. This is Very Exciting.

***This is going to be a Traditional Take Off out of the Harbor Marina by the dam. Our take Off will be at 630 am on Sunday for the NYFA.

Make sure to arrive early at Harbor Marina and be prepared for the take off at 630am. HS Division will Take Off 1st then we will take off the JR Division.

Weigh in will be behind Pomme Dam next to the ball field. I have given a base map. Make sure to check your livewells before the tournament so they are not leaking driving to the Weigh-In.

Make sure you are at the CHECK IN POINT on the Map by your weigh in time. You will have to plan accordingly so you are not late.

*There is a $5 launch fee and some ramps have automated machines for the fee.

Here is the Essay question for the NYFA MO Championship. This question should look familiar.

Remember. This is a Very easy way to earn Scholarships by doing these Essays. They can be three sentences or three pages. Turn them in and we will draw. 2 JR Teams and 2 HS Teams for Scholarships. Then we will be drawing for Laptop computers from all the Essays turned in throughout the year.

*NYFA HS and JR Championship TOURNAMENT INFORMATION*

*Remember 13" Black Bass are the Minimum sizes for the tournament. Please do not bring a Short fish to the scales. Read the rules for the penalties of a short fish.

** 4 fish limit

*Must Trailer to the Weigh-In. Make sure you're at the CHECK IN located on the Map by your weigh in time. You DO NOT have to come back to check in at the Harbor Marina.

*Must use the NYFA Weigh In Bags at the Academy Tent.

*Off Limits: Harbor Marina and other Commercial docks.
