We're thrilled to announce our keynote speaker for this year's Prayer Breakfast: Jen Becker.

Her journey combines 16 years of vocational and pastoral ministry, including hands-on work in community leadership, youth outreach, and addiction recovery support, with 20 years as an entrepreneur in the beauty industry.

She'll be exploring the power of connection and how faith, relationships, and shared commitment can strengthen the bonds between our neighbors, churches, businesses, and community.

Meet Brian and Nancy, our early morning crew. For over four years, they've shown up before their regular workdays even start, stocking coolers and produce bins to get everything ready for shoppers at 9am.

Nancy came almost by accident. "I was helping my son look for volunteer opportunities to put on his resume. I came to the first meeting at CROSS with him. I hadn't intended to volunteer myself, but I discovered that there was an early morning volunteer shift I could do before going to work, and it was such a welcoming and comfortable place that I signed up!"

Brian followed soon after. "My son and Nancy started volunteering at CROSS a few months before I did... I was recently retired and looking for somewhere to volunteer, and their experience made CROSS an easy choice for me."

Both say it's the people that keep them coming back. "Volunteering at CROSS is fun and what they do truly helps people," Nancy says. "It's a good opportunity to get out of your own head and think about other people."

Behind every number is a story. A parent working to put healthy meals on the table. A neighbor who didn't have to choose between groceries and the electric bill. A volunteer who gave their time because they care about this community.

This past year, together, we welcomed 21,726 family visits, distributed over 2 million pounds of food, and logged nearly 46,000 volunteer hours. None of it happens without you.

Our 2025–2026 Annual Report is coming later this month. This is just a glimpse of what's inside.
